AVIAN CAPTURE & TRANSPORT

One of the most important first steps in wildlife rescue is capture and transportation of wildlife to the facility or to another organization or rehabber. This can be one of our most needed and important volunteer roles in avian rescue.
In this class we will go over the basics of transporting avian patients. For those who are interested we will also cover capture techniques, and there will be opportunities to practice. We will be signing people up directly in this class for those who are ready to volunteer on our transport team.
